About Quick Read Moments
Most of us have more information than ever before.
Yet somehow, we often feel like we have less time to think.
Small moments that once belonged to us are now easily filled. Waiting for a train. Sitting with a cup of tea. Standing in a queue. A few quiet minutes before bed.
Without thinking, we reach for our phones.
Quick Read Moments began with a simple question:
What if those small moments could become something more enjoyable?
Not more productive.
Not more efficient.
Just a little more interesting.
A curious fact.
A short story.
A moment of humour.
A new perspective.
A few pages instead of a few minutes of scrolling.
The idea behind Quick Read Moments is not to reject technology or tell people how they should spend their time. It is simply to offer an alternative for those small spaces that appear throughout the day.
Because life is made up of small moments.
And those moments matter.
Our Philosophy
Quick Read Moments is built around four simple ideas:
Curiosity
A curious mind stays alive.
Books, questions, ideas, and unexpected facts remind us that there is always something new to discover.
Movement
We do not need perfect fitness routines to benefit from movement.
Sometimes a stretch, a walk, or a conscious breath is enough.
Quiet
Not every moment needs to be filled.
There is value in waiting, noticing, reflecting, and occasionally doing nothing at all.
Environment
The spaces around us shape how we feel.
A comfortable chair, a favourite candle, a book, or a cup of tea can turn an ordinary moment into something special.
Creator and Founder
My name is Ela Urbanowicz.
I have spent much of my career working in hospitality and wellness and creating spaces where people can pause, relax, and reconnect with themselves.
Quick Read Moments grew from that same belief.
I wanted to create something simple: a collection of short reads for people who feel they do not have time to read, but still enjoy learning, laughing, and exploring new ideas.
The goal is not to change your life in a single afternoon.
The goal is much smaller than that.
To make one small moment a little better.
And perhaps remind us that some of the best moments in life are the ones we almost overlook.
